I am a professional translator and interpreter based in Ibiza, Balearic Islands, with more than 15 years of experience. The languages with which I work are Spanish, English, French and Catalan, in all their combinations

Qualifications

A university degree in English Philology, University of Barcelona.
A course in consecutive translation (English/ French- Spanish/ Catalan), Eurocentres, Barcelona.
A course in financial English, Eurocentres Victoria, London.
A course in legal English, Eurocentres Victoria, London.
Catalan: Levels “D” and “E”, Junta Permanent.

As a professional translator and interpreter, my mission is to communicate your message in an effective, accurate and errorless manner. Besides translating and interpreting in general, my work fields are:

*Legal: court orders, judgments, contracts, patents and legal documents in general. *Scientific/ medical: medical certificates and reports, drug leaflets, textbooks, instruction manuals, chemical safety sheets, websites. *Financial: translations related to finances and economy. *Advertising: advertising campaigns and brochures, tourist guides and brochures, press articles, menus. * Other services: proofreading (correction and revision) and writing of texts.

As a passionate translator and interpreter, the only business card I can think of using to introduce myself is my work. This is how you get to know my work and where words speak for themselves. If you wish to receive samples of the translations I have done throughout my 15-year experience, send me an e-mail. Business references are always available upon request.

Fees

Translation: 0,10€ per word, without adding an extra charge for urgency. Every translation is urgent for me. If you do not send me your documents by e-mail, and, therefore, I cannot know the number of words it contains, I will take the translation as a reference and I will count the words by using Word.
If your documents are similar, and only some parts are different, you will be given a discount of 50% in the second document. Interpretation: 40€ per hour, no matter if it is a working day or a holiday, in the morning or in the evening. Revision and correction/ proofreading: 20 € per hour.
